For a novel to be successful, the reader is supposed to wonder what happens to the characters after the book ends. This rule doesn’t apply to business books, which is why I came away vaguely disappointed by Enterprise Architecture As Strategy: Creating A Foundation For Business Execution (Harvard Business School Press, 2006), the new book by Jeanne W. Ross, Peter Weill, and David C. Robertson.
