The Internet Protocol for Smart Objects (IPSO) Alliance has published its Smart Objects Guideline – Starter Pack 1.0. The Smart Objects Starter Pack (SOSP) 1.0 provides a basis for interoperability across devices connected to the IoT through an open common object model. This open standards based data design is crucial for the wide scale deployment and success of IoT and Machine to Machine (M2M) applications.
