What Is SHACL | Ontotext Fundamentals

SHACL (Shapes Constraint Language) is a W3C standard that describes conditions RDF datasets must meet. Unlike RDFS schemas and OWL ontologies which enable inferencing, SHACL metadata serves to validate data and ensure quality. SHACL allows defining constraints such as required properties and value ranges for RDF knowledge graphs.
